The second Anuvrita is Truthfulness in a general sense. The Satuan With it are connected five faults to be avoided by Vrita one who keeps it. They are, (1) to spcak ill of others (2) to divulge any one's secret (3) 10 censure others [4] to fabricate false writings and [5] to doctor accounts. The third Aruvrita is gencral abstinence from stealing. To take The Achours without its owner's permission what is kort, lying, Anuvrita forgotten or not one's own, is general stcaling. The fivc faults of the low are (1) to make somc onc cisc sical (2) to buy stolen properly (3) to disobcy law (4) 10 makc falsc mcasurcs & (5) to adultcratc commodities for sale. The fourth is thic Abandoning of sexual relation with any but onc's own wisc. The Rrahima. In observing it, too, fivc faults have to be guarded charyn against, namely,[1] to bring about other's marriages (2] to rclishi naked sexuality [3] to indulgc indecent calk [4] to be too fond of sensuality and (5] to frequent thc houses of prostitutes. The filth is the circumscription of worldly cquipments. It means that a man should make up his mind as to what arc his needs and then limit his ambition there and that lic sliould live within his means. The five faults to be avoided here arc (1) to underlake unnecessary enterprisc (2) to lay by too much (3) to admire with satisfaction other men's wcalth [4] to be covelous and (5] to hear 100 much burden. Thcsc live vows observed without faults and the abandonment of intoxicants, animal food and honcy, make up the cight primary qualitics of a lay man. They are essential to make him a Shra. vak. The faults connected with each or lle vous do not constitutc, if not observed, non-observance of llic Vous them.
