A hath-rakh topa is the topa measured with the help of one hand. The charra topa is measured without any aid : D.I. K: the standard measure of capacity in Shahpur, containing almost exactly 2 standard sers of wheat or bajra : 4 paropisi - 1 to pa - 2 sers. 4 topas - 1 pai - 8 sers. 10 pais - Iman -2 standard mans. * 4 mang - 1 khalwdr - 8 standard mans. In Muzaffargarh the topa varies in weight from 11 to 67 sers, but its usual weight is about 5 or 6 sers. In Ferozepur the topa equals 3 sere pakkd or, among the Dogars, 4 ser8 pakka. In Hazera it-4 chobas, but is now rerely used. In Gujarat 4 paropis - 1 topa by measure. 16 topas = 1 man. 50 , - l pand. 4 pands -l mani. 1 mání - 91 English mans. The topa however varies in weight from 14 to 3 English sers. Topl: cap; topi-lani, a form of widow remarriage : Ch., 127. Topu : a cap, worn by women : SS., Bashahr, 42.
