________________ GLOSSARY (In Devanāgari alphabetical order ) In this Glossary are included not only the important and technical terms, used in this work, but also such other terms as are necessary even for a cursory study of the Samgitaśāstra. The chapter on dance is elaborate, and contains numerous technical terms. Of these, we have selected here only the broad ones, particularly those which convey more meanings than one in different contexts.
