III The Manuscripts of the Work I came across this work when I was collecting materials for ApabbramsaPathāvali.4 The Ms. of this work was in possession of the late Prof. K. H. Dhruva with whom I was then in close contact. He showed the Ms. to me and I hurriedly went through its contents at that time. Later, the Ms. came in possession of Gujarāt Vidyāsabbā and I copied out the whole text from that Ms. for my study. I was, however, not satisfied with the condition of the text of the Ms. In the meantime, Ācārya Sri Jinavijayaji who was then in Jaipur (Rajasthāna) brought to my notice that Āmera Digambara Jaina Bhandāra possessed four - अपभ्रंशपाठावली compiled by me in 1933 and published by Gujarat Vidyasabha, Ahmedabad (Gujarat).
