"Thus, indeed, Jambū, in that age, at that time...the city of Kayandı; king Jiyasattu ... There in the city of Kāyandī, there dwelt a merchant's wife named Bhaddā (rich, etc.). This merchant's wife, Bhaddā had a son named Sunakkhatta, a boy perfect [until] of handsome form, attended by five nurses just like Dhanna. The gifts of thirty-two each [until] enjoyed in the paragon of a palace high up.
In that age, at that time... the arrival... Sunakkhatta went out just like Dhanna, His withdrawal just like that of Thāvaccā. putta [until] became a friar, heedful in walking (until] guarded in continence.
Then, on the very day, when he shaved himself before the Ascetic, Lord Mahavira [until] entered the order, he took a vow [same as before, un til]...as... in the hole... he took his food and abode with constraint (etc.); he moved out in the country outside... studied Eleven Scriptures [etc.] abode exercising himself with motification and restraint
