We avail ourselves of this occasion, #specially because only to-morrow you will be on your way to thụt lanit where you went in 1893, as an accredited Delegute of the Jain ('ommunity, to represent the views on the Ethics and Philosophy of our Religion in the Parliament of Religions at Chica yo. It was a matter of joy and satistaction for us all that out of a few Indian Delegates of light and learning, who could compete with and hold their own aguinst the foremost tbinkers of Europe and America, you were the only person who was heard with rapt attention and accorded due praise.
Your real work may be said to have commenced with the tormiuation of the sittings of that grand Assembly, for it was then that invitations from persons of diverse sview and various positions, coupled with the earnest solicitations of Associations, Quions, and Clubs, began to pour in, wbich induced you to prolony
