The Gospel of Jainism.
The first thing to know about Jainism is that it is a science,and not a code of arbitrary rules and commandments rooted in caprice and dictated by the passing fancy of the moment. It lays no claim to derive its authority from any non-human source, but is founded on the knowledge of those great seers who have attained perfection by their own spiritual experience. It is in this respect like any other science which claims its validity neither by dogmatism nor by mysticism. It is unnecessary to add that nothing but science of scientific thought can be relied upon to produce immediate, certain and unchanging results.
