अपनी अवस्थाओं में स्थिरता, मन की समस्त विचारप्रक्रिया में निश्चलता और समस्त अवस्थाओं में सन्तुलन को सम्यक्चारित्र कहते हैं ।
___ एतत्त्रितयमेवास्य, हेतुः समुदितं भवेत् । नान्यत्कल्पितमन्यैः, यद्वादिभिः युक्तिबाधितम् ।।६।।

इन तीनों का (रत्नत्रय का) मिश्रण ही मोक्ष की प्राप्ति का उचित साधन है । शेष वादियों के व्दारा कथित मार्ग तर्कसंगत नहीं होने से मोक्ष का मार्ग नहीं है ।
इत्थं स्वतन्त्रवचनामृतमापिबन्ति । स्वात्मस्थितेः कनकसेनमुखेन्दु सूतम् ।।
ये जिह्वया श्रुतिपुते त्रियुगेन भव्याः । तेऽजरामरपदं सपदि श्रयन्ति ।।३२।।
