११६ : श्रमण, वर्ष ६२, अंक ४ / अक्टूबर-दिसम्बर २०११ निदेशक प्रो० सुदर्शन लाल जैन ने पार्श्वनाथ विद्यापीठ का परिचय दिया तथा भगवान् पार्श्वनाथ के जीवन पर प्रकाश डालते हुए मालवीय जी को श्रद्धा-सुमन अर्पित किये। मुख्य अतिथि श्री पन्नालाल जायसवाल, नई दिल्ली, इतिहासकार प्रो० जे०पी० मिश्र, प्रो० दीनबन्धु पाण्डेय, प्रो० जे०पी० लाल, डॉ० उपेन्द्र कुमार त्रिपाठी आदि विद्वानों ने दोनों महाविभूतियों का गुणगान करते हुए श्रद्धा सुमन अर्पित किये। डॉ० फिलिप क्लेटोन का आगामी ३ जनवरी, २०१२ को आगमन आगामी ३ जनवरी, २०१२ को अमेरिका के क्लेरामॉण्ट लिंकन यूनिवर्सिटी के प्रोवोस्ट (अध्यक्ष) एवं क्लेरामॉण्ट स्कूल ऑफ थिऑलजि के डीन डॉ० फिलिप क्लेटोन का आगमन हो रहा है। डॉ० क्लेटोन पार्श्वनाथ विद्यापीठ के सभागार में 'Applied Jainism : Why and How' विषय पर अपना एक व्याख्यान देंगे। इस अवसर पर पार्श्वनाथ विद्यापीठ द्वारा प्रकाशित तीन पुस्तकों- प्राकृत-हिन्दी कोश, जैनकुमारसम्भव एवं कर्मग्रन्थ-५ का विमोचन होगा।

1- ISJS center at Virginia Commonwelth University (VCU) is being inaugurated on November 13, 2011. Earlier Dr. Shugan C. Jain had gone to VCU to deliver two lectures to more than two hundred students in September 2011 and a professor (Dr. Daniel Smith) and three students of VCU attended ISSJS 2011. This is the second ISJS centre for Jain studies being opened in US universities this year. Earlier the first ISJS centre was opened at Claremont Lincoln University, California on Sept. 6, 2011. 2- Dr. Shugan C. Jain, President PV and Chairman ISJS went to Switzerland where he delivered a lecture of one and half hours to 125 school children of class VI at Ecole International Geneva on Jainism. The session was highly interactive and children were very interested to know the principles of Karma, Anekānta and Ahimsā of Jainism. Meetings and discussions also took place with faculty at Universities of Lausanne, Switzerland and Munich in Germany for likely association with ISJS and participations in ISSJS 2012 programme.
