What happeus to such a oue who is trausforred into the Divine type? Does lie luve to die and remain in subjection to the law of Transmigration ? No, there is an end to his sufferings and wanderiugs, for lie bas become fully Divine as a God. Philo, too, says (Ibid. p. 138) :
"..the good man does not die, but departs, that it might declaro
the inextinguishable and immortal aturn of the fully purifiod soul, which shall experience a departure from this world to heaven, lol

Immortality is acquired, not as a gift from an outside patrou, but because pure Spirit is a simple and, therefore, indestructible substance.
But is there no simpler and less trying method of reaching the Divine unity for the benefit of the easy-chair Speculators of our day? Can We not go ou living and eujoying oursolves, let us say, it bit noderately, in the world, and become divine at the same time? There are some persons who actually think that the teaching of the Bible not only provides such an easier method but is actually opposed to the more austere one. Let us see what is the truth for ourselves.
