________________ SANNYASA DEARMA is tho restoring of the state of purity by proper action, or penance, in respect of a fault committer! by the saint. It also signifies ronunciation of certain sinful actions. Parihara wisuddhi is refraining from himsā. This is attained by highly advanced saiuts. Sukshmu sāmprāyaya signifies the subduing of all the powerful passions, with the presence only of just the faintest tingo of greed. It is characteristic of saints whoso enthusiasm is over increasing, in consequence of their constant engagement in refraining from the commission of himsă of the visible and invisible living beings. These are they who are able to observe all the rules of conduct applicable to saints, who have burnt up a great deal of tho matorial of their kurmas in the fire of puro seif.contemplation that is enkindled, fanned and maintained by the winds of Right Faith and Right Knowledge, who have destroyed the seed of the poisonous tree of evil passions by the power of steady meditation, whoso remaining burden of delud. ing karimas is about to be destroyed and whose power of self-control is exceedingly great on account of the riddance of all but the slightest tinge of greed. Yathakhyāta is the namo given to the conduct of him who has attained to the purity of the Soul's nature by the destruction or quiescence of all tho deluding karmax.
