________________ SAMAYASARA. 2017 स्पर्शो ज्ञानं न भवति यस्मात्स्पर्शी न जानाति किंचित् । तस्मादन्यज्ज्ञानमन्यं स्पर्श जिना वदन्ति ॥ ४१८॥ 418. Touch is not knowledge, as touch does not know anything. Therefore knowledge is one thing, touch quite another. The conquerors say so. कम्मंणाणं ण हवदि जमा कम्मंण याणदे किंचि । .तह्मा भएणं णाणं भएणं कम्मं जिणा विति ॥ ४१६॥ कर्म ज्ञानं न भवति यस्मात्कर्म न जानाति किंचित् । तस्मादन्यज्ज्ञानमन्यत्कर्म जिना वदन्ति ।। ४१६ ।। 419. Karma is not knowledge, as Karma does not know anything. Therefore knowledge is one thing, Karma quite another. The conquerors say so. धम्मच्छिमो ण णाणं जमा धम्मो ण याणदे किंचि । तह्मा भएणं णाणं अण्णं धम्मं जिणा विति ॥४२०॥ धर्मास्तिकायो न ज्ञानं यस्माद्धर्मो न जानाति किंचित् । तस्मादन्यज्ज्ञानमन्यं धर्म जिना वदन्ति ॥ ४२० ॥ . 420. The embodied substance, medium of motion is not knowledge, as medium of motion does not know anything. Therefore knowledge is one thing, the medium of motion quite another. The conquerors say so. ण हवदि णाणमधम्मच्छिो जंण याणदे किंचि । तह्मा भएणं णाणं अण्णमधम्मं जिणा विति ॥ ४२१॥ न भवति ज्ञानमधर्मास्तिकायो यस्मान्न जानाति किंचित् । तस्मादन्यज्ज्ञानमन्यमधर्म जिना वदन्ति ॥ ४२१ ॥ 421. The embodied substance, medium of rest, which does not know anything is not knowledge. Therefore knowledge is one thing, the medium of rest quite another. The conquerors say so.
