His statements were always supported by sound and logical arguments This is what apealed to me most in his meta hod of approach to any enquiry. He had a broad vision and cathe lic outlook and was ever ready to share his knowledge with his fellowbeings. Dr. A. N. UPADHYE The late lamented Br. Shital Prasadji's name deserves to be remembered with respect by all students of Jainism and Jaina literature. It was his mission of life not only to practise principles of Jainism but also 10 propound them to the modern world. His zeal for studies in Jainism was remarkable, sincere and usually contagious. He always encouraged others to carry on studies in Jainism, and he extended to them all possible help. It was a noteworthy trait of Brahmachariji that he had due regard even for those from whom he differed, He was great enough to understand differences. His spirit of self-sacrifice, sincerity of purpose and unflinching devotion to the study of Jainism and Jaina literature, are exemplary virtues which we should ali tiy to follow. Dr. BENI PRASAD Brahmachariji was not only a scholar but also a force in soci. al reforem and uplift. He devoted all his gifts to the service of the cause in which he believed and the principles which he held. His memory will always be held in high esteem by all who had the privilege of his acquaintance.
