FOREWORD. Owing to the untimely death of Mr. C. D. Dalal, m.a., the editor, this work is published for the present without its Intorduction and Notes. We are also aware that owing to the great pressure of other work that Mr. Dalal had on his hands at the time he was editing this work, he could not correct the several mistakes that have crept in the text.
Scholars of old Gujarati are only a few in number and those few are not free or prepared to undertake to complete this work just at present. Hence this First Part of the work containing only the Text is sent out to the public with a promise that it will be followed soon with a Second Part which will contain a critical Introduction and Notes written by the veteran old Gujarati scholar Mr. Keshav Harshad Dhruva, B.A., of Ahmedabad, 10-4-20
