Siddhasena gani
Author of a commentary on the Tattvârtha of Umâsvâti. He gives his spiritual genealogy as follows(1) Dinna gani. He taught the word that proceeded
out of the mouth of Mahâvîra without need of books. This is No. 14 of the Kharatara gachchha
and No. 11 of the Tapå gachchha with Klatt. (2) Sinhasûri. “Jnâtâkhilarthagamah." This is the
Sinbagiri who follows in both lists. See under
Sinhagiri. (3) Bhâ svâmin.
(4) Siddhasena gani. Our Anthor, 3, App. p. 84. From this it would appear that the author of the Tattvarthatîkâ is to be identified with Siddhasenadivákara, who in the Kharataragachchhapattávali is represented as the pupil of Vriddhavâdisûri, a contemporary of Sinhagiri.
