________________ द्वितीयोद्योतः Scond Chapter अथ नाड़ीविज्ञानसमयमाह The time of reading the pulse : प्रातः कृतसमाचारः कृताचारपरिग्रहम् । Jahta: yarala gaterreparatai (V.1) Both the examiner (i. e. physician) and the examinee patient should be seated on comfortable seats after performing their morning functions in the morning (i. e. clearing of the bowels, washing of mouth, etc.). The examiner will examine the pulse of the patient. Morning is the best time for examining the pulse. Because at this time the pulse remains cool. At noon the pulse becomes hot and in the evening it becomes fast-running. Therefore, if the pulse is examined in the morning, its real condition is felt.
