sentiment of any other soul is not proved as good as that of the Tirthankaras, there is the total sway of Sri Tirthankara gods only on this universe. On the countrary, if we don't believe it, we become the betrayers of that formost Rule under whose obligation we breathe. .
To betray the Rule is to Betray the Tirthankara gods beneficent to us all or to betray the sentiment of theirs beneficent to the whole universe.
The abovementioned botion got steady in the mind of Sri Siddhari Gani in accordance with the lines of the volume 'Lalitavistara. As a result of that, he addressess Reverend Sri Haribhadrasuriswara as his religious, spiritual preceptor and his beneficent friend. Then he eeulogizes him whole heartedly and devoutly as if Sri Haribhadrasuri' swara had composed this colume for his sake only.
If we say that this volume only made Sri Siddharsi Gani Steady, the importance and greatness of this volume is not shown totally, because the value of that volume is not that much only.

If there is no such trust or faith, and in absence of such trust or faith, if there is any sort of negligence or betrayal of the Great power of the Benevolent Rule and thereby if one commits a great sin, this volume 'Lalitavistara' saves one from that sin and creates true trust or faith in the person. This volume is beneficent to Sri Siddharsi as well as to the person who studies it religiously and who acquires realization of trust by its study.

The souls of the Tirthankaras reaching the top of these two sentiment are the poineers of religion activities: the some souls are the charioteers of the chariot of religion and they only are the sovereign rulers of the kingdom of Religions. Who else, excepting the commentary 'Lalitavistara' would explain to us the significance of this fact ? And if it (Lalitavistara) had not explained it how could we have exhibited our devotion and regard towards our benevolent and the great obliging personality of the universe ?
There are certain obligations of the volume 'Lalitavistara', which can't be included in this brief preface. Those obligations may be known through study of this volume only. But it is not an easy task to study this volume, for there are philosophy in it, abstract reasoning and logic are well-knitted in it, there is a science and art of rhetoric or poetics and also of literature.
The task of reading this volume is tough. Then how tough it would be while thinkiong, comtemplating, digesting and translating into correct language instead of mere reading it ! However, appears that to some extent the work
