A special mention ought to be inade of his very interesting obituary notes on eminent scholars like शास्त्री ब्रजलाल काळीदास, श्रीमान् नृसिंहाचार्यजी, वैद्यराज भट्ट रघुनाथ इन्दजी, (more familiarly known as कताभट्ट), स्वामीश्री कृष्णानन्द सरस्वती, and on Gujarati men of letters like गोवर्धनराम त्रिपाठी, मनःसुखराम, and इच्छाराम देसाई.
