Like the previous one, this Yaksiņi, too, takes her part as a Vidyādevī. As such, the name borne by her is Gāndhāri. There is some essential connection between the Yakşiņi Gāndhāri's animal of a crocodile and the Vidyādevī Gāndhārī's animal of a tortoise. (andā or Pracandā seems to be, as the name indicates, a Jaina prototype of the Brāhmaṇic Caņdā or Durgā.
Viditā or Vijara or l'airoli
The Svetānbaras kuow this Yaksini as Viditā or Vijayā. She is described in their books as scated on a lotus and as having four hands with an arrow', noose, bow and snake. The Digambara Vairoţi appears in representations as riding on a snake (Gonasa) and bearing in her hands two snakes, bow and arrow 3
Vairoți figures also like others as a Vidyādevi. The other name of Viditā means 'learned onc'. This would suggest the
