56. Padmavati, yakşi of Pārsvanātha (23rd), seated in lalitāsana, kukkuța-sarpa as vāhana,
fivebeaded snake canopy overhead, 4-armed, holds varadākşa, goad, noose and fruit, Neminātha Temple (western Devakulikā), Kumbhāriā (Banaskantha, Gujarat), 12th century A. D.
57. Door-lintel, showing the figures of 4-armed (from left) Ambikā, Cakreśvarī and Padmāvati
yakşis, all seated in lalitāsana, and 2-armed Navagrahas, Khajuraho (Chatarpur, M. P.), 11th century A. D., Jardin Museum, Khajurāho (1467). Ambikā with lion vehicle shows rolled lotuses in upper hands, while in two lower hands, she carries a bunch of mangoes and a child. Cakreśvarī rides a garuda (human) and holds varada-mudrā, mace, disc and conch (mutilated). Padmāvati, shaded by sevenheaded snake canopy, rides a kukkuta and bears in three su viving hands varada-mudrā, noose and goad.

bull cognizance and usual pratihāryas and 2-armed Ambikā standing at right extremity, Khandagiri (Puri, Orissa), ca. 10th-11th century A. D.
59. Jina Pārsvanātha (23rd-with sevenheaded cobra overhead) and Mahāvīra (24th-with lion
cognizance), both seated in dhyāna-mudrā with their respective yaksis (Padmavati and Siddhāyikā), Bārabhuji Gumphä, Khņdagiri (Puri, Orissa), ca. 11th-12th century A. D.
