Arhadvaktra-Prasūtam Arhadvaktra-Prasūtam Gañadhara-Rachitam Dvādasangam Visalam; Chitram Bahvartham-Yuktam Munigana Vrsamairdhāritam Buddhimadbhiḥ मोक्षाग्र-द्वारभूतं व्रतचरण-फलं ज्ञेयभाव प्रदीप; भक्त्या नित्यं प्रपद्येश्रुत मह मखिलं सर्व लोकैक सारम् Moksāgra-Dvārabhutam Vratacharana-Phalam Jñēyabhāva Pradipam; Bhaktyā Nityam PrapadyēŚruta Maha Makhilam Sarva Lõkaika Sāram General Meaning : This is a prayer of the Dvādaśangi (Agama Sūtras) which were compiled by the first 11 Ganadharas (prime disciples) of Lord Mahavira. Emerged from the Dēšanā (sermons) of the Arihants Composed by the Ganadharas, The Dvadasangi (Agama Sutras) is magnificent ! Such is this Dvādasāngi, awe-inspiring and profound in meaning Those Achāryas with infinite mental capacity Carried it in their powerful memory. This is the ultimate gateway to Moksha. Its fruits are the austerity and perfected conduct, Like a lamp it illuminites all that is worth knowing, (spiritual knowledge). With Bhakti (devotion), everyday I revere This Dvādaśāngi, that is incomparable, As it holds, the essence of all principles, In the entire universe.
