Stillness or steadiness of the eyes is not required. You can continue eating while applying this practice. As a precaution, have your eyes examined periodically by a doctor. Look at the rising or setting sun - only once per day in increments of 10 seconds, starting with 10 seconds the first day, 20 the second day and so on. When you reach three months you will be gazing at the sun 15 minutes at a stretch. What is happening: The sun's energy or the sunrays are now passing through the human eye and charging the hypothalamus tract, which is the pathway behind the retina leading to the human brain.
