The Jain Study Circle, North Hills NY held its annual meeting on June 5, 1994 at the residence of Krishna and Chandrabehn Mehta. This will be the fifteenth year of publication for the Jain Study Circular which is a quarterly publication devoted to the scriptual studies of the principles of Jainism. A resolution of condolence was adopted on the sad demise of Acharya Sushil Kumar Ji. The JSC holds quarterly meeting in the New York Metropolitan area to increase awareness and conduct discussions on topics related to the principles of Jainism. The JSC appeals to all readers of the circular to study, write and submit articles on Jainism for possible publication.
An agreement has been signed between JAINA and AT & T Association Awards Program. AT & T will pay JAINA 5% of the residential AT & T, direct dial, international, long distance, perminute usage charges, billed and collected for each registered JAINA member, who has choosen AT & T as their long distance company.
The program will bring JAINA an estimated $10,000 per year.
