encourage them to form a group for worship and study, and in October a symposium on Peace at McMaster University, in Hamilton, was organized. A trip was organized for the President to visit Vancouver in western Canada to bring social and religious awareness and to form a group for worship and study. A Series of lectures by Muni Amarendra was organized in various cities in southern Ontario. Quite an accomplishment for a year old organization. The president, lastly, has acknowledged all the people and organizations that cooperated and helped to spread the teachings of Tirthankaras to its followers, as well the community we live in.

Leichester, a city 90 miles north of London, England, is the headquarters for Jain Samaj of Europe. The city itself has over 300 Jain families. Members from other countries in continental Europe are from Antwrep in Belgium, West Berlin, Paris and Iceland.
