He is a noble Jain and a great benefactor. A few years ago, Mr. Hegde erected a beautiful statue of Bahubali in Dharmastala. As an individual, this accomplishment of Mr. Hegde is parallel in history to that of Chamundaraya, the great poet and the General of Ganga dynasty which ruled Karnataka 980 years ago. JAIN MAHAVIRA SANGH HONOURS S. NABHIRAJIAH Bangalore, November 5. JAIN MAHAVIRA SANGH of Bangalore held a function to honour Mr. S. Nabhirajiah, reputed attorney in the state and a highly acclaimed community worker for the past 50 years. Mr. Nabhirajiah is the father of Mr. Prakash, a very active Jain community organizer in Toledo, OH. Mr. Nabhirajiah held elected office as a member for 40 years and was President of the Sangh for 15 years. As President, he laid solid and secure financial base for Mahavira Basadi. As a directortrustee of an engineering college in Bangalore, he created opportunities for Jain students to enter engineering school.
