D. Morg. Ges. the published text has " samvat sn 841 Mrigha-Iudi 6;" in Ind. Ant," samrat iardika 7 Mdgha-fudi 6; "and in Ind. Ant. Vol. XIV. p. 351, the date by Dr. Fleet is read "samoat S0O 709 Magha indi 20." I take someat is to be an abbreviation of sa insatsara-ial&shu; compare my remarks in Ind. dat.
