________________ CONFLUENCE OF OPPOSITES 319 (4) "And I wept much because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon. 15) "And one of the elders said unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda... hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. (6) "And I beheld in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts and in the midst of the elders stood a lamb. (7) "And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne." (8-14) The Lamb is now hailed with rejoicings and blessing by a whole multitude including the 24 Elders and the four beasts, and every living being wishes him blessings, and honour, and glory and power. Chapter vi. The Lamb opens the seals of the book which is written inside and at the back and is sealed with seven seals, and which he had taken from the right hand of him who sat on the throne. Such is the graphic account of that “which must be hereafter," which John, the Divine, has recorded in the Book of Apocalypse.
