1*In Buddhism we find that the very intention (will) of committing an evil action is an act itself. The Anguttara-nikāya (III, p. 415) thus states-Cetana aham, bhikkhave, kamman vedāmi; cetāyitvā kammam karoti, kāyena, vācāya, mansā.
