"non-self": this has the meaning of vajra, explained as voidness (śūnyatā), the general characteristic of natures (dharma). "sameness wisdom": which views this general characteristic. [Santi-pā associates this verse with the preceding one on the "diamond fists". It appears that the name "Vajrasattva" is here a general coverage of the 16 "diamond beings" going in sets of four with the four Buddhas as in the foregoing.]
