Victoria Boutenko, author of Green for Life, conducted a study of several folks and asked them NOT to change their diet but to simply add one quart of green smoothies per day. The results were astonishing--simply because we cannot chew our food as well as a blender can; therefore, the body can better assimilate the incredible nutrients.
