Kodivarisa was the capital of Ladha, one of the twenty five and a half Āryan countries It is said that Mahāvīra arrived here from Kalambuka Sannivesa and procecded to Punnakalasa. Lädha was divided into Vajiabhūmi and Subhhabhūmi 440
