________________ NOTES 57. The stanza describs the dreams of the queens of king Dasaratha, after their conception. ya, protected. araa dwarf in size. Fou i. e. 78, असि, गदा, शाङ्ग and चक्र are the emblems of lord Visnu. 58. qrasit: this is the reading of 10 MSS. consulted by the late Mr. Nandargikar for his edition of the Rghuvarsa (3rd edn.
