57. The stanza describs the dreams of the queens of king Dasaratha, after their conception. ya, protected. araa dwarf in size. Fou i. e. 78, असि, गदा, शाङ्ग and चक्र are the emblems of lord Visnu.
58. qrasit: this is the reading of 10 MSS. consulted by the late Mr. Nandargikar for his edition of the Rghuvarsa (3rd edn. Bombay, 189,) while Mallinātha reads qada, qranta: Tù:, mountain-tribes. Fr, an iron arrow. aufter a sling. Fr, a battle.
58, 1. 1. qarang, as there is (only) pada or grammatical form. qe is defined as alās 1974 in this sense.
59. When a thing is described as possessed of attributes which do not properly belong to it in a particular condition, the fault afect is developed, e, a young elephant is not likely to be in rut, much less hrefa. Hence the fault 34a FITETIT.
60. This is one of the stanzas in the second canto of Raghuvams'a which describe how all forms of honour due to a king were shown to Dilīpa, although he was moving in the forest in the guise of a forester, मरुत्सखाभ resembling the friend of the wind, i. e. fire. आचारलाजा, ef. पुरप्रवेशे हि राजा giartfit: &t: saarela Per-Commentator Vallabha.

60. I. 1. No work of the name of शृङ्गारकौमुदी, either of मदनकFिortiys other author is mentioned in the Catalogus Catalogorum.

According to our author the fault Riffe lies fit calling a Faatar (aa: ate husband, tel:) or at UCHAGT, for the lays down that कुचकोरकत्वं or अङ्कुरितयौवनत्वं is the characteristic of a मुधा ledy in the case of a newly married lady, the poet speak only of the Fathegion of the breasts and not of budding breasts. 62. The full stanza is as follows:
दरमुकुलितनेत्रपालिनीवीनियमितबाहुकृतोरुयुग्मबन्धम् ।
