This Colophon gives us the following genealogy of the author Ragunātha Manohara :(C. A. D. 1650) कृष्णपंडित of the Surname मनोहर
Son (C. A. D. 1640) भिकंभट्ट .
Son
(A. D. 1697 ) रघुनाथपंडित the author of the कधिकौस्तुभ.
I am inclined to identify this रघुनाथ मनोहर with रघुनाथ मनोहर the author of aufagie a work on Medicine represented by several Mss. in our libraries. References to earlier works and authors mentioned by Raghunatha Manoara. in his कविकौस्तुभ are :

1. Vide Anfrecht CC.I, 613, II, 146.-I.O. Cata. No. 2695 and B. B. R. A. S. Cata. by H. D. Velankar, Nos. 206 and 207. There are two MSS of वैद्यविलास at the Govt. MSS Library (B. O. R. Institute, Poona) No. 600 of 1899-1915 and No. 636 of 1895-1902. They are described by Dr. H. D. Sharma on pp. 363-364 of his Des. Cata. of Vaillyaka Mss. (Vol. XVI, Part I), 1939. MS No. 600 of 1899-1915 is dated Saka. 1736 = A. D. 1814. It belonged to one parrehit ailfar (Dinkar Joshi). In some colophons the author is called "कविकुलावंतस रघुनाथपंडित" (See fol 98). In the Ms of कविकौस्तुभ also he is called "कविकुलावंतस रघुनाथपंडित". The author refers to himself as "कबिराघव" in verse 2 at the commencement:
"सदुक्तिभाजां कविराघवेण वितन्यते वैद्यविलास एषः". The work is styled as "महाकाव्य". No. 636 of 1895-1902 is a very modern copy without date.
In the Goträvali of Konkņastha or Chitpavana Brahmins we find the surname मनोहर. Tho Gotra of the मनोहर family is भारद्वाज (हिरण्यकेशी.) The MS of the aufa described in the India Office Catalogue mentions to as the surname of its author रघुनाथपंडित.
