Cosmos: Cosmic Prana Energy & Vastu
By Prof. PRATAPKUMAR J. TOLIYA (Talk & Research Paper presented at the PRANANVESANA 14th International Conference, Bangalore, organized by Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana, VYASA OF VYOMA, at Prashanthi Nilayam on 18-21 Dec., 2003).
COSMOS:
Our Cosmos is full of infinite majesty, mysteries and energies. Our allknowing Seers, Rishis, Sarvajna Tirthankaras realized this after their long long years of indepth, integrated, inner-outer investigations and explorations of Matter and Spirit. This was achieved in course of their meditations and realizations through perfect SPIRITUAL SCIENCE : Chaitanya Vijnan.
SPIRITUAL SCIENCE:
These all-integrated Spiritual Science investigations and revelations transcended all branches of Modern Material Science. Modern Science has had to accept principles of CHAITANYAVIJNAN. After years of ongoing researches and investigations of the Cosmos and its functioning laws, the conclusions derived by Nobel-prize winning modern Scientists have to match with the principles of this, Spiritual Science. From Newton to Einstein and modern present-day Scientist has either to accept Spiritual Science Principles of Indian Rishis or to go on investigating without getting final conclusion. Researches of ATOM (ANU : PARAMANU), MOLECULE (SKANDHA), NEOTON ELECTRON and all are only true partly and they need the integrated wholeness of investigations of abovereferred Indian Seers. With this short indication, we shall come to the subject of Cosmic Vastu.
COSMOLOGY:
Indian Seers' Cosmology, Particularly Jain Cosmology, has wonderful investigations and revelations with regard to Cosmic energies of“PRANA” hidden behind the Elements of Nature : Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Sky. These Panchabhootas have to act and inter-act with SHADASTIKAYAS, the six ASTIKAYAS—the existing Naturaťrealities-of the Universe, which are:
* JIVASTIKAYA: Soul or Spirit-based elements (Chaitanya) * PUDGALASTIKAYA: Matter-based elements (Jada) * AKASHASTIKAYA: Ether-based elements of Sky * DHARMASTIKAYA: Motion-providing element of Movement
