Tamil Language and Script Contents Records a gift of 4 ma of land by a Sambhuvarāya of the Sengě ni family, who is said to have conquered the Pandya country. Reference ARE, 202/1902, SII, Vol. VII, No. 829. Remarks The Sambhuvarāya chieftain of this record is the same as Sengēņi Ammaiappan who, on behalf of the Cholas, fought against the Pāņdyas, and thereby got the title, 'Pandyanadu Kondan'. 44
