Dynasty King Date (archaic characters) Tamil Language and Script Contents Registers the names Viramallan and Siyamittiran in archaic characters. In another place is engraved the term “Ya-karadu', also in ancient alphabet. The rock has a row of five beds cut into it. Reference ARE, 50/1913. Remarks The date of the record is not known to us. Viramallan and Siyamittiran seem to be the names of monks who resided in the caves.
