Tamil Language and Script Contents Records that Räjarāja Sambhuvarāya alias Kandara Sūryan built a shrine for the goddess and installed therein the image of Yakshi, and granted some lands, probably in Perumāņdaipājputtūr for the expenses connected with the worship of the goddess. The Jaina temple at this place is called Ravikulasundarapperumpaļļi. Reference ARE, 219/1902, SII, Vol. VII, No. 846. Remarks The shrine of the Yakshi is called in the record as Munvalai Konda MangaiyarNayakiyar Srikõil' and the Yakshi is known as Mangaiyar Nayaki Varasundari'.
