\Nirjara - Exhaustion of Karma
-Exhaustion of karma already acquired • The karma exhaust themselves by producing the
results when it is time for them to do so. • However at that time, new karma begin to pour in. • Hence it becomes difficult to be free of Karma. • Therefore, one should destroy the Karma before
they produce the result. • This is called Spiritual Nirjara
-Nirjara is done by rigorous penance.
