I bow down to Rushabhdev who is the first amongst kings, the first to propogate non acquisition and who is the first Tirthankar, (Saklarhat Stotra S.S.)
Those blissful eyes of Lord Mahavir, mercyful even towards the wicked, were moist with tear-drops as he felt pity towards the wasted efforts of a tyrant. (The tyrant Sangam tried for 6 months to harrass the Lord but He was unperturbed, and when defeated Sangam left, the Lord's eyes were moist with tears. He felt pity towards Him. Let this mercyful Lord protect us. (S.S.)
