"जं अब्भसेड़ जीवो,
गुणं च दोसं च इत्थ जम्मम्मि। तं परलोए पावइ,
अब्भासेणं पुणो तेणं" ॥८॥
“जो जंपइ परदोसे,
गुणसयभरिओवि मच्छरभरेणं। सो विउसाणमसारो,
पलालपुंजव्व पडिभाइ" ॥९॥

जो तू सोचेगा सदा-सदा, पावेगा भव-भव में वही-वही । जी देखेगा सो पावेगा । गुण देखेगा गुण पावैगा, दोष देवेगा दोष पावेगा।
होगे गुणों के पुंज भी, परनिन्दा जी करोगे, तो विद्वज्जन तुमको भूसे का देर समझेंगे ।
8. All the good and bad qualities that we practise in
this life, Can be attained in our next life through diligent
efforts.
9. Despite being endowed with hundreds of virtues,
One who badmouths others Is treated like a bale of straw by the learned ones.
