His mind was not shaken by the queen's beauty and charms or her passionate glances or her sweet words or the exhibition of her physical beauty and charms. When all her attempts failed, she used the weapon of fear or threatening. She threatened him saying that, if he did not satisfy her desire, she would seream aloud and see that he was given capital punishment. But even this threat did not dismay him. He kept meditating on Lord Shanthinath, calmly. At the end, the queen uudid her plait and flung her hair about her head and made a false accusation against the Sait that he had molested her. The king became furious on hearing this and passed a sentence of death upon the Sait. Finally, the saine spear on which he was sent to death became his throne. In other words, it became the cause for the establishment of his shrine. Even to this day, we sing his glory and with devotion we repeat his sacred name and meditate upon him. The small, undeveloped worm becomes a bee by continuous meditation. In the same manner, the soul by means of constant and continuous meditation on God or the Supreme soul becomes a supreme soul. On account of self-discipline life becomes sacred and venerable. We know that our character is affected by our acquisition of qualities that provoke desires in us.
