WJC commenced functioning its memorandum of association & rules & regulations from 6th april, 2001 being the auspicious day of the 2600th Janam Kalayanak of Bhagwan Mahavir WJC has been formed as a society under the societies registration act, 1860 as applicable to Maharashtra, India.
There exists a huge list of WJC objectives. We are mentioning only few objectives in tune with VRG mission:
To act as a world forum for representation consultation & co-ordination in the task of promoting jain way of life, Jain Ethics, Jain culture, Jain Art, Jain Heritage, Jain Philosophy & collaborate with other faiths & traditions.

To co-ordinate & organize Jain representation at important interfaith conferences & to promote interfaith harmony through networking on humanitarian & social welfare projects. To institute awards to distinguished individuals / Organization for their outstanding contribution to promotion of Nonviolence, upliftment of humanity & peace.
To Institute scholarships & chairs on Jainism at majority universities in India & Abroad.
This photo is of VRG Statue
