After some time again, Mūladeva repeated the same request and he was similarly granted another amount. The king expressed his gratitude by heaping other honours on him. In this way Muladeva succeeded in collecting from Mandita all the wealth that he had accumulated through theft. The king asked Mandita's sister whether that was all the wealth that he had and when the sister confirmed it, the king returned all of it to the persons from whom Mandita had stolen it and ordered Mandita to be impaled.
