________________ Previous Bhavas or Lives of Tirthankar Parshvanath Parshwanath, the most worshipable Tirthankara in the present Chauvishi(24 Tirthankaras), had nine birth incarnations before he had been to born to the queen VAMA of the king ASHWASEN at Varanasi on the eleventh day of dark moon of Gujarati Month Magshirsh, about 950 B.C.. His nine previous births were: 1. Marubhuti 2. An Elephant 3. Heavenly god in Sahstra heaven 4. Kiranveg Vidyadhar Heavenly god in Achyuta heaven 6. Vajranabh 7. Heavenly god in Nav Graiveyak 8. Kanakbahu Cakrin 9. Heavenly god in Pranat heaven and last one as Parshwanath 5. Ho del hold you From his first birth as Marubhuti he had entangled with Kamath, as his elder brother. Ironically, this elder brother contrived to lure and secure Marubhuti's wife, the king on hearing this episode punished Kamath, depriving him of his post and banishing him out of his kingdom. When Marubhuti came to know of this development, he went in search of him and pleaded his innocence. Highly incensed he was, Kamath was in no mood to listen to him and killed him instantly by throwing a boulder over his head. In all subsequent lives it is the soul of Kamath on one side with anger and revenge & soul of Parshvanath on other side with forgiveness and compassion. What do we learn primarily from the life of Tirthankar Parshvanath? Never carry forward ill-feeling towards others. Try to nipit at the bud. The life of Lord Parshwanath teaches that enmity etched in the mind harms the individual for a long period of births. Secondly, only cure to anger is kshama or forgiveness For Private Personale Only
