Liberation
Parshwa attained Omniscience after 84 days of initiation. He then turned to be BHAGWAN PARSHWANATH. He established his own four-fold order. Thereafter he lived long life spreading the true religion. His teachings in seventy years had tremendous impact on the society. He is often viewed as the real founder of Jainism
As his end of life drew near he approached Sammetshikhar and accepted Anasan(Total fasting) and relinquished his body forever at the age of 100 years and attained Nirvana-Liberation, on Samet Shikhar Mountain. This is located in the state of Bihar and is the most famous place of pilgrimage for Jains. The soul of Parshwanath now enjoys eternal peace and bliss.

Statues of Parshvanath
Lord Pärsvanātha is always represented with the hood of a naga shading his head. This nāga usually has three, seven or eleven heads. The Yaksha Dharanendra and the Yakshini Padmavati are often shown flanking him
In Jain canonical literature, Parshvanatha is represented in 'Padmasana' (lotus) posture - both palms and feet, with auspicious lotus marks on them, placed upward. He has blue-black complexion - the color of the cosmos. The seven-hooded serpent Shesha-umbrella-like unfurling its hoods over the deity, represented elements of the earth and the ocean and has hence a similar body colour. Parshvanatha has been represented as wearing a gem-studded crown and other ornaments. He has a golden throne as a seat and a rich canopy above.
Many temples are dedicated to Lord Parshvanath throughout India. There are at least 108 different images (names/roop) by which he is honored.
