________________ 100 TIRTHANKARA MAHAVIRA AND HIS SARVODAYA TIRTHA The Feeling of Self The acquisition of the feeling of Sef is indispensible for right faith In the absence of this feeling, all other efforts are useless 79 To be precise, this is not the feeling of other souls; it IS the feeling of one's own soul. niyataccuvaladdhi vină sammattuvaladdhi natthi niyamena sammattuvaladdhi viņā ņivvānam natthi jinudittham so In the absence of the feeling of self, one does not acquire right faith, and in the absence of equanimity, one does not attain liberation alamalamatijalpairdurvikalpairanalpai rayamiha paramārthascetyatām nityamekah svarasavisarapürnajnānavisphurtimātrā nna khalu samayasārāduttaram kincidastı. 81 Needless to add more, the point is, feel thyself which is the very embodiment of Paramatman. There is nothing more important than this in this world Cf edamhı rado niccam santuţtho hohi niccamedamhi edeno hohı tutto hohadı tuha uttamam sokkham 82 So oh worldly beings concentrate exclussively on your own soul, be happy with it, be gratified. You are sure to get the highest bliss For, acintyasaktih svayameva devas cinmātracıntāmanıreşa jasmāt sarvārthasıddhātmatayā vidhatte jnāni kimanyasya parigrahena 83 This very soul is a god with inconceivable power, is an animate cintämani gem.
