T: This is the manuscript which Late Agamaprabhākara Munirāja Sri Punyavijayaji has utilised.
One may refer to the Gujarati introduction for the detailed description of these five paper manuscripts.
We have utilised the manuscripts containing the Samavāyāngasūtravrtti by Abhayadevasuri in the preparation of this critical edition. Three palm-leaf manuscripts which are given signs for
9 and d have already been described in this Foreword [p. 9 lines 5-27]. And one paper manuscript (=H.) preserved in the Sri Hemacandrācārya Jaina Jñāna Mandira, Patan has also been utilised. One may refer to the Gujarati introduction for the description of this manuscript.
To This is the printed edition of the Samavāyāngasūtra with the Vrtti by Abhayadevasūri, published by Agamnodaya Samiti. We have consulted this printed edition. I
In the manuscripts, we find that someone has given corrected readings in place of the readings originally written. At such places the readings originally written are mostly found cogent. To convey his we have compounded or with those signs given to manuscripts. To illustrate, 9 means originally written reading in the 970 manuscript while to means the corrected reading written afterwards by someone in the 90 manuscript. On this same line we have to understand जेमू० १,जेसं० १. अटीo sign stands for Abhayadevasūri's Tikå (on the Sthānangasūtra or the Samavāyāngasutra according to the context).
