________________ Śrāvakācāra and Pancācāra : 87 that which is as it is, is Samyagdarśana. There is no Mithyādarśana in ācārya and they are full of Samyagdarśana. The śrāvaka should also follow eight types of Darshanācāra which are as follows:(1) Niḥśankita : A śrāvaka should believe in the words of the Jina and śāstra without any doubts. Due to the little capacity of our mind if we are unable to understand the depth of the śāstra, we should not have doubt on the śāstra. (2) Niḥkāṁkșita : A śrāvaka should not be attracted towards false Tapa and false dharma and festivals at any time like animal sacrifices etc. (3) Nirvicikitsa : A śrāvaka should carry out dharma without entertaining even the slightest doubt in its efficacy. Good deeds will always give good results without any doubt. (4) Amūdhadęsti: A śrāvaka should not be fooled or stupefied by false theories, the miracles of false Gods. One must also think thus “What is the use of this when it does not have the basic Samyagdarśana. (5) Upabṛhana : A śrāvaka should be encouraging the activities relating to Samyagdrşți like knowledge, tapa etc. (6) Sthirikaraṇa : A śrāvaka should help those who cannot carry out spiritual activities on account of their sorrows and destitution. He should Render help to them with body and mind and funds. (7) Vātsalya : A śrāvaka should have a genuine affection for the fellow members of one's faith and treating them as one's dearest relatives. Helping the needy like sages, scholars and aged people with affection for their needs like the affection cow has for the calf.
