________________ (15) JÄVANT KE VI SÄHOO SUTRA Javant Ke Vi Sähoo Bharaheravay-Mahävidehe A, Savvesim Tesim Panao Tivihena Tidandviryänam Meanings: Javant=to all those, Ke Vi=any one, Sähoo=monk, Bharah=Bharat Kshetra, Eravay=Airvat Kshetra, Mahävideh=Mahavideh Kshetra. A=and, Savvesim=all, Tesim= them, Panao=bowed, Tivihena=three ways i. e. mentally,vocally and physically, Tidandviryänam=restrained from three faults of indulging, prompting or encouraging. Translation: I bow to all the sages in Bharat, Airvat and Mahävideh, who do not unduly exercise, do not prompt others to exercise and do not encourage such exercising of the physical, mental and vocal faculties.
