70. श्री विमलनाथ स्वामी
कपिलपुर के शासक थे राजा कृतवर्मा और उनकी रानी थी श्यामला देवी। उनके पुत्र के रूप में श्री विमलनाथ के जन्म माघ बहुल तृतीया के दिन हुआ। समस्त सम्पत्तियों को भोगकर माघ बहुल चतुर्था के दिन वे सन्यासाश्रम में प्रविष्ट हुए। सारे कर्मों को छोड़कर पुष्य बहुल षष्टी के दिन केवल ज्ञान प्राप्त करके अर्हत बने और तेरहवों तीर्थङ्कर हुए। उनके निर्याण आषाढ़ शुद्ध सप्तमी के दिन हुआ।
70 SHRI VIMALANATHASWAMY
The 13th of the Tirthankaras is Shri Viamlanatha Swamy. Kapilapuram was being ruled by King Krithavarma and Queen Shyamadevi was his consort. Shri Vimalanathaswamy was their child. He was born on a certain Magha Bahula Thadiya (corresponding to the third day in the waning phase of the eleventh month in the lunar calendar). After having spent a secular life for some years, Shri Vimalanatha Swamy entered monkhood on a certain Magha Bahula Chavithi (corresponding to the fourth day in the waning phase of the eleventh month in the lunar calendar) and attained Kevalajnana on a certain Pushya Bahula Shasthi (corresponding to the sixth day in the waning phase of the tenth month in the lunar calendar). He thus became the 13th Tirthankar and attained Supreme Bliss on a certain Ashadha Shuddha Sapthami (corresponding to the seventh day in the waxing phase of the fourth month in the lunar calendar).
